Modbury, is a small town (pop. approx 1500) dating from the 8th century located in a region known as the South Hams in Devon, England, surrounded with rolling hills, wooded glades and winding country lanes.  Modbury has a strong community spirit and has a reputation for having individual shops, unspoiled by the usual chain stores found in bigger towns.
